Crestwater is a laid-back multiplayer fishing world you play right in your browser. Wander a sunny island, cast into quiet coves, and share the shore with other anglers in real time. No downloads, no pressure — just a warm little place to fish, build, and belong.

🎣 Fish a living island

Hundreds of species swim these waters, from common sunfish to rare, rumored catches. Fill out your Fish Index, chase the weekly hot zones where the biting is best, and upgrade from a driftwood pole to rods you earn and craft. Every cast is a small thrill.

🪓 Gather & craft

Chop trees, mine rocks, and dig the shoreline for wood, ore, copper, silver, and the odd buried treasure. Haul it to the crafting bench and forge rods, tools, and home décor — even mount a prize fish on your wall. Everything you make, you earned.

🏡 Claim a home & decorate it (beta)

Pick a plot on the island map, walk to the door, and it's yours. Furnish it your way — beds, tables, shelves, storage chests — and set the little things you find or craft right onto your shelves and tables. Books you dig up go on the bookcase; a potted plant on the table. Store your haul, rearrange to your heart's content, and make the place feel like home. (Housing is in beta and growing fast.)

📜 A story to uncover

Crestwater isn't just scenery. The village keepers and islanders have their own tales, favors, and questlines to follow — a whole story woven through the island for you to pull on, one job at a time.

🌍 A shared world

It's an MMO at heart. See other anglers fishing beside you, chat with the whole island, trade catches and gear face-to-face, add friends and jump to where they are, and climb the global leaderboards for gold, fish, and rarest finds.

🎨 Make your angler your own

Choose your look in the wardrobe — outfits, hoods, cloaks, colors — with more characters and clothing on the way.

🪙 Shops & a wandering merchant

Sell your haul at the village stalls, take jobs from the keepers, and check the weekly rotating merchant for décor that changes every week. A living little economy, day and night, under an original soundtrack.

🌱 Early development

Crestwater is built by one person and still growing. Expect the occasional rough edge — and expect it to get better constantly, with new fish, features, art, and characters added all the time. You're among the very first to play, and that means a lot. 💛
